Who you're working with
Visually Direct is the photography practice of A BLEUUE CONCEPT LLC, an Indiana limited liability company owned and operated by Aaron Cook, serving Michigan and beyond. Booking a session means you have read and agreed to these terms, which are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
Booking & retainer
A non refundable retainer reserves your date and time. Your slot is not held until it clears, and the retainer is applied toward your balance. Quoted prices are honored for fourteen days from the quote.
Payment
The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session. I accept card, Apple Pay and Cash App. Print and photo book orders are paid in full when placed and are non refundable once production begins. If a payment is reversed or disputed without contacting me first, you agree to cover the disputed amount plus any fees incurred.
Rescheduling, late arrivals & no shows
Life happens. With at least forty eight hours notice I will move you to the next available date, and your retainer transfers once within sixty days. Same day cancellations and no shows forfeit the retainer. Sessions begin at the booked time; late arrivals are photographed in the time that remains, with no discount or extension.
Service area & travel
Sessions within thirty miles of Grand Blanc, Michigan are included. Travel beyond that, along with any location, parking, permit or admission fees, is the client's responsibility and is quoted in advance.
Studio & indoor sessions
I work primarily on location and outdoors and do not operate a private studio. If you would like an indoor or studio setting, booking that space and any rental fees are your responsibility, and I am not liable for the venue. On request I can bring additional lighting or equipment for an added cost, quoted in advance.
On set
You are responsible for everyone in your party, including minors and their supervision. I may pause or end a session without refund if anyone behaves unsafely, abusively, or while impaired in a way that prevents me from working.
Creative control & what you receive
I photograph, cull and edit in my own style and select the final images. You receive the number of professionally edited photos listed in your package, delivered digitally. Unedited, RAW and unselected files are not delivered, sold or licensed. I cannot guarantee specific poses, expressions, weather, or that any particular person will cooperate.
Turnaround, galleries & storage
Galleries are typically ready within seven to ten business days, with rush delivery available as an add on. Your online gallery stays live for ninety days. Please download and back up your files during that window, as I do not guarantee indefinite archiving and re delivery afterward may carry a fee.
Copyright & print release
A BLEUUE CONCEPT LLC retains the copyright to all images. You receive a personal use print release to print and share your photos for personal, non commercial purposes. Reselling images, entering them into contests, or using them commercially requires a separate written license. Please do not remove watermarks or apply edits that materially alter the work.
Portfolio & marketing use
Unless you request otherwise in writing before the session, your images may appear in the Visually Direct portfolio, website, advertising and social media. Tell me and I will keep them private.
Weather, equipment & limitation of liability
Outdoor sessions affected by unsafe weather are rescheduled at no charge. In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, data loss, or any cause beyond my reasonable control, my total liability is limited to a refund of the amounts you have paid, and I am not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under Indiana law.
Privacy & agreement
Your contact details are used only to plan and deliver your session and are never sold or shared. These terms are the entire agreement between us; if any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Questions about these terms? Email aaron@bleuue.com.
